Abstract
The quality of coconut wood needed in the wood industry requires a process in assessing the quality of wood. The quality of coconut wood is needed by looking at differences in the pattern of coconut sliced wood per unit area. Image classification technique helps the classification process determine the quality of coconut wood which is a pixel grouping technique to obtain an image of an object that is represented by a feature, class or material. The data used are coconut wood data which are grouped by density which is useful for selecting wood quality based on visualization. UML-based visual modeling is used for the application of developing coconut wood quality classification.
